Declawing Cats and Debarking Dogs

Poll: Pet owners weigh in on declawing and debarking
About 60% of U.S. pet owners say they don't oppose declawing cats but only 8% said they approve of removing dogs' vocal cords to keep them from barking, according to an Associated Press-Petside.com poll. Experts say both surgeries can negatively affect animals' physical and mental health.
